Management Resources, part of the $1B consulting arm of Robert Half, is currently hiring Controllers to be part of our full time full-time consulting practice that includes full-time salary as well as access to Fortune 500 benefits. The Controller oversees all aspects of the clients accounting and compliance operations and functions, as well as being responsible for directing the clients overall financial policies. The Controller also oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, insurance, tax, and treasury. The Controller also designs and coordinates a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Finance and Accounting: *Plans and directs ledger accounts, financial statements and cost control systems, establishes and maintains the companys accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. *Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to Finance Committee; responsible for reviewing expenditures and preparation of operating budgets. *Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures. *Assist leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate. *Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the appropriate staff; continuously collaborate with program managers to assess the financial efficiency of the program operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations. *Manage and track the performance of invested asset in keeping with policies and investment guidelines. *Program, Quality Samples Program and Technical Assistance for Specialty Crops Program. Assuring that all expenditures under these programs meet the regulations for the programs. *Supervises the Accounts Payable functions. *Supervises the activities in the collections department, oversee the processing and solicitation for payment on overdue accounts and the auditing of non compliant accounts. *Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required (unless otherwise noted): *Minimum of 5-7 years experience in financial and accounting administration, and at least two (2) years management experience. *Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Finance or Accounting), CPA certification a plus. *Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. *Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable and general ledgers. *Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting. *Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners. *Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers. *Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. *Ability to work well under pressure. *Individual must be a self starter, and able to self direct. *Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
